Focus Hospital Rome: AirFlow Ultra for the Orthopaedic Operating Theatre

For the refurbishment of the Orthopaedic Operating Theatre at Focus Hospital – Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli IRCCS in Rome, Nicfa® AirFlow Ultra was selected: the intelligent and adaptive filtration system within the Nicfa range.

AirFlow Ultra integrates the Nicfa Smart System, which continuously monitors environmental parameters, analyses data in real time and automatically regulates the filtration ceiling, maintaining ISO 5 conditions even in operation, without interruption.

The system dynamically adapts airflow to the operating conditions of the room, detects any anomalies and automatically optimizes system performance. When no activity is detected, ECO mode helps reduce energy consumption and operating costs.

All parameters are also recorded and stored in the Digital Environmental Record, making objective data available for analysis, verification, audits and full traceability of operating conditions.
