Policlinico San Giorgio, Pordenone: AirFlow Ultra for two ISO 5 operating rooms

As part of the new operating theatre at Policlinico San Giorgio in Pordenone, comprising five surgical rooms overall, two operating rooms were equipped with Nicfa® AirFlow Ultra, the most advanced solution in the Nicfa range for intelligent air filtration.

At the heart of the system is the Nicfa Smart System, which continuously monitors environmental parameters, analyses data in real time and automatically regulates the filtration ceiling to maintain ISO 5 conditions even in operation, without interruption.

Ultra dynamically adapts airflow to the operating conditions of the room and optimizes system performance. When no activity is detected, the automatic switch to ECO mode helps reduce energy consumption and operating costs, combining environmental performance with energy efficiency.

The detected parameters are also recorded and stored in the Digital Environmental Record, making objective data available over time for analysis, audits, verification and full traceability of operating conditions.
